Reading Buddies Practice Gratitude

Before leaving for the Thanksgiving break, Ms. Goldfinch's 5th grade and Mrs. Stevens' Kindergarten class met one more time for an activity. Goldfinch's and Stevens' classroom meet once a month as Reading Buddies. Fifth grade students have the opportunity to mentor younger students and enhance their leadership skills, while kindergartners are able to practice a variety of things such as social emotional skills. To tie in the school's PurposeFull People theme of gratitude, students worked together to create a chain of things and people they were thankful for.
