Once per month Wendy Dubrow hosts Book Clubs 4 Kids during lunch and recess. BC4K aims to instill a life-long love for reading while building community.
Two separate clubs, one for 3rd grade and one for 4th grade, are open to all reading levels. Meetings foster meaningful discussion to enhance understanding and deepen student connection while exposing kids to a variety of life experiences through books.
A few quotes from students were "The teacher always chooses good books and does really fun activities" and "I love reading the books and talking about it afterwards".
